How can I check on my pet during their stay?

We offer a public Facebook Group for our clients to see updates about their pets during their stay with us.  In the unlikely event of an emergency, you will be notified immediately and your pet will be taken to our nearest emergency veterinary hospital for care.

What do you supply for overnight boarding?

All pets in our care receive private food and water bowls, freshly washed blankets and bedding, an elevated Kuranda Sleeping Cot, and the care and attention they need and deserve.  Dogs have secure indoor-outdoor kennels with runs, and Cats have their own private Kitty Condos with bedding and litterboxes provided. Food can be provided for an additional cost.

You’re welcome to bring items from home that will make your pet feel more at home. Typically, clients pack along their own food, treats, bedding and a few toys or a bone. We do ask you to use common sense with the amount of belongings you pack for your pet’s stay. Usually, one blanket is sufficient, not four 🙂

Additional Care for All Guests:

  • Regular playtime and interaction with our attentive staff.

  • Individualized care plans to accommodate specific dietary and medical needs.

  • A commitment to creating a stress-free and enjoyable experience for every pet.

My pet has a special diet or needs medication administered. Can their needs be accommodated?

Absolutely!  Our staff can accommodate any and all medications, supplements, and special diet requests our guests require during their stay.

Medication & Supplement Policy

If your pet is on any medications or supplements, we require that they be brought in their original containers or packaging so our staff can properly identify each item. You're welcome to pre-mix medications or supplements into your pet’s food before drop-off if you'd like.

If we are required to physically administer medication (i.e., not placed in food or treats), there is a $4 per day administration fee.

If your pet’s medication has specific timing requirements that fall outside of our standard morning and evening care routines, the $4 per day fee also applies, as this may require staff to set aside dedicated time to meet your pet’s medical schedule.

For the safety of your pet and our staff, we are unable to administer medication to pets who are aggressive or unwilling to take it. In such cases, we strongly recommend boarding your pet with a veterinary facility.

What sanitary protocols do you follow?

Our kennels and equipment are sanitized multiple times per day and in between every guest.  We use WysiWash and Rescue products to keep your pets safe during their stay.

Yes!  Unlike most boarding facilities, we can provide a safe and secure environment for your intact dog during their stay.  We can also accommodate most dogs that aren't able to be in other kennel environments.

Are the kennels heated or cooled?

The inside of the kennel building is climate controlled. There is heat in the winter and it's cooled in the summer.

How many potty breaks are in a typical day?

It all depends on the weather. When it is nice outside, we like to leave the doggy doors open which lead out into the outside run. This gives your dog the freedom to go in and out all day long. However, when it is too cold, hot or rainy, we have 4-5 let out periods throughout the day for potty breaks.

What is Home Style Boarding?

Looking for something a little cozier for your pup’s stay? We’re offering Homestyle Boarding – where your dog becomes part of our family during their visit!

Dogs get to cuddle on the couch, hang out with us throughout the day, and enjoy a truly home-like experience. At night, each pup sleeps in their own large indoor enclosure with plush beds, soft blankets, fresh water, and a peaceful space to wind down.
